X v. UK
Application No. 8160/78
22 DR 27 at 37-38 (1981)
Concerns the right of a Muslim teacher to demand that he be allowed to attend Friday Prayers at the Mosque during school hours. The Court took into consideration the extent of the religious obligation and the measures of accommodation offered by the employer. It was not conclusively established that he had a binding obligation to attend the mosque and the school had accommodated him when they could.
