Article 6 - states parties shall assure effective remedies:

A Danish citizen of Pakistani origin was the subject of a public racist insult in high school. The State authorities failed to investigate properly or prosecute the complaint and the complainant never obtained an apology or sufficient satisfaction or reparation.

Conclusion:

Violation of Article 6: CERD held that the complainant was denied effective protection against racial discrimination and an effective remedy.
